Sometimes you need to step back from what is happening in your life and look at it with someone who can help you make sense of it. You might be facing a decision, noticing the same old pattern, or simply wondering where things are heading.
I’m Cheryl Kerr, an intuitive Tarot reader based in Liverpool. I’ve worked with Tarot for 34 years and read professionally for 15 of them, for clients in the UK and around the world. My readings are honest, in-depth conversations, with room for you to ask questions and explore what the cards bring up.

What Happens During Your Reading
We begin by having a chat on WhatsApp video. Once we have connected and spoken for a few minutes, I choose the cards intuitively for you. You don’t need to own a deck or choose cards online beforehand.
I work with 16 cards from three of my Tarot decks. I look at the reading as a whole: your past and what has brought you to the present, what is helping or opposing you, what may be keeping you stuck, and what could happen as you move forward.
There is time for discussion. You can confirm what makes sense, give me more context and ask questions as we go. That conversation can open up the reading further and help us explore how it relates to your circumstances.
Relationships, work, family, practical concerns and changes in direction can all appear within a reading. I offer a full reading rather than separate love, career or three-card packages. You are welcome to tell me what you would particularly like guidance about.
Your appointment is a one-hour session. I keep the number of readings small because I want us to have the time and attention the reading deserves.
How I Read Tarot Cards
When I read Tarot, it can feel as though I’m looking at your life from above, almost like looking into a live photograph. I notice the people, patterns and circumstances the cards describe, and how they connect with one another.
I’m intuitive and claircognisant: I have a strong sense of knowing as I read. I bring that intuition together with decades of working with the cards and my background in astrology, life coaching and spiritual teaching.
I take Tarot seriously and respect it deeply. I’ll explain what I see honestly, including things that may be uncomfortable to hear. I don’t sugar-coat a reading, but honesty can still be delivered with compassion and a sense of humour.
Tarot also has a psychological side. Its characters, experiences and symbolism can help you recognise something you have been feeling but haven’t quite put into words. Seeing your life “laid out on the table” can make it easier to understand what needs your attention.

What to Ask During Your Tarot Reading
You don’t need to arrive with a beautifully worded question. Life rarely arrives that tidily. If there is something you want to explore, tell me in ordinary language and we can find a useful way to approach it.
I encourage questions that give us room to understand a situation and your part in it.
For example:

What do I need to know about this situation?

What do I need to change in order to move forward?

What is the potential for this relationship or opportunity?

What can I do to work towards what I want?

What is getting in my way, and how can I approach it?
Those questions allow us to explore what is happening, what may be influencing it and what choices are available to you.
Questions I Would Approach Differently
I don’t recommend yes-or-no questions. A simple yes or no tells you very little about why something is happening or what you can do about it.
Questions such as “When will I get married?”, “When will I meet my soulmate?”, “Will my lover leave their partner?”, “What does my ex think of me?” or “Will I win the lottery or my court case?” ask for a fixed answer or certainty that I cannot promise.
We can often find a more useful question. Instead of asking exactly when a relationship will arrive, you might explore what you need to understand about your relationships now. Rather than relying on someone else leaving their partner, we can look at your circumstances and the choices you have.
A reading cannot guarantee another person’s thoughts, decisions or behaviour. And Tarot guidance should never replace qualified medical, legal or financial advice.
Can Tarot Show What Might Happen in the Future?
Looking ahead is part of how I read. The cards can suggest possible developments and where your current circumstances may be leading. I also look at what is happening now and how you might respond to it.
I believe some parts of life may be shaped by fate, but we also have choices. As I’ve always said, you are the author of your own destiny. A reading is guidance and confirmation; it is something to consider alongside your own judgement, rather than something to live your life by.
I cannot guarantee a particular outcome or promise that the reading will tell you what you want to hear.
Questions About Your Online Tarot Reading
Do I need to be in Liverpool?
No. I’m based in Liverpool, but your reading takes place live on WhatsApp video. You can join me from anywhere in the UK without travelling to an appointment.
Is this a live reading with you?
Yes. You will be speaking directly with me for your personal reading. It is a live conversation, rather than a written report or a prerecorded reading.
Can you read for me if we are not in the same room?
Yes. I have read for clients across the UK and around the world by video call. We connect through our conversation and I choose the cards intuitively for you. You still have the opportunity to respond, ask questions and explore the reading with me.
Do you offer in-person readings?
My current appointments are by WhatsApp video call only.
Do you offer readings for groups or parties?
No. These appointments are private, one-to-one sessions. I don’t offer group or party readings.
Are you a medium or do you contact people who have died?
No. I am an intuitive Tarot reader, not a medium. I don’t channel messages from spirit or communicate with the deceased.
Do I need a specific question?
You can bring a particular concern or come for a broader reading. If you’re unsure how to phrase something, we can discuss it during the session.
How should I prepare?
Have WhatsApp ready for a video call and choose somewhere comfortable and private, with a reliable internet connection. Bring a pen and paper if you would like to take notes, and keep any questions you want to discuss handy.
Can I record my reading?
For privacy reasons, I ask that you do not record your reading. You are welcome to take notes during our conversation.
Can I ask questions afterwards?
Please ask your reading questions during our session. Further reading questions after the appointment are not included, so I encourage you to take notes and ask me to explain anything you want to understand before we finish.
How much does the online reading cost?
Your one-hour WhatsApp video reading costs £90. We arrange the appointment and payment directly after you contact me. You do not pay through this page.
What if the listed dates do not suit me?
I offer readings on selected dates only. If none of the listed appointments work for you, please check this page again for future availability.
